QUICK LESSONS:
Spend time with people, Listen carefully
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of accompanying someone without narrating any hadiths. It was narrated by Sa'ib bin Yazid that he accompanied Sa'd bin Malik from Al-Madinah to Makkah and he did not hear him narrate a single hadith from the Prophet ﷺ. This shows us that it is important to accompany someone without necessarily having to narrate any hadiths. It teaches us that we should be able to spend time with people, even if we don't have anything new or interesting to say. We can learn a lot just by being in their presence and listening carefully. We should also remember that it is better for us not to spread false information or rumors, as this could lead people astray and cause confusion among them.
