In this hadith, Kab 'al-Ahbar is warning Umar ibn al-Khattab not to go to Iraq. He explains that there is nine tenths of sorcery in the area and it is also the place of rebellious jinn and diseases which doctors are unable to cure. This hadith teaches us that we should be aware of our surroundings and take caution when travelling or going somewhere new. We should also be mindful of our health and seek medical help if needed. It also shows us the importance of listening to wise advice from those who have more knowledge than us.
