SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a shepherd and he encouraged others to do the same.

Malik related to me that he had heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "There is no Prophet who has not herded sheep," and someone asked, "You as well, Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Myself as well".

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect all jobs/tasks regardless of social status/position in life; Be humble; Remember everyone has unique skills & abilities which should be respected; Do not be ashamed of doing any job or task within your means & does not go against Islamic teachings .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of herding sheep, as it was something that even the Prophet Muhammad himself did. It shows us that no matter who we are, we should not be ashamed of doing any job or task, as long as it is within our means and does not go against Islamic teachings. This hadith also teaches us to be humble and to remember that even though the Prophet was a great leader, he still did simple tasks like herding sheep. We can learn from this example by being humble in our own lives and remembering that everyone has their own unique skills and abilities which should be respected regardless of their social status or position in life.
