The Life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was inspired by Allah at the age of 40 and stayed in Mecca for 13 years before migrating to Medina, where he stayed for 10 years before passing away.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Allah's Messenger was inspired Divinely at the age of forty. Then he stayed in Mecca for thirteen years, and then was ordered to migrate, and he migrated to Medina and stayed there for ten years and then died.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَهْوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعِينَ، فَمَكَثَ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً، ثُمَّ أُمِرَ بِالْهِجْرَةِ، فَهَاجَرَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، فَمَكَثَ بِهَا عَشْرَ سِنِينَ، ثُمَّ تُوُفِّيَ ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). At the age of 40, he was inspired by Allah with divine knowledge and wisdom. He then stayed in Mecca for 13 years before being ordered to migrate to Medina, where he lived for 10 more years until his death. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet and live our lives according to his teachings. We should also remember that even though we may not be able to reach his level of piety or knowledge, we can still learn from him and try our best to emulate him as much as possible.
