The character of Islam is modesty'. "

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the character of Islam which is modesty. It was narrated by Yahya who heard it from Malik who heard it from Salama ibn Safwan ibn Salama az-Zuraqi who attributed it to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that every religion has an innate character and the character of Islam is modesty. This means that Muslims should be humble and not boastful or arrogant in their behavior towards others. They should also be respectful and kind in their interactions with people regardless of their faith or background. Furthermore, they should strive to maintain a balance between being assertive and humble at all times so as not to offend anyone or make them feel inferior due to their beliefs or lifestyle choices.
