Trusting in God's decree , Putting effort into learning about Islam .

This hadith speaks about the power of Allah's decree. It tells us that nothing can keep away what Allah has given or give what He has kept away. No matter how hard we try to achieve something if it is not meant for us then we will not be able to get it. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us that when Allah desires good for someone then He gives them understanding in the deen. This means that when a person is sincere in their faith and puts effort into learning about Islam then they will be blessed with knowledge from God Himself which will help them understand His religion better. Finally, this hadith was narrated by Muawiya ibn Abi Sufyan who heard these words from the Prophet Muhammad himself on blocks of wood which shows how important these teachings are for Muslims to remember and follow in their lives.
