EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith states that the Prophet Muhammad forbade preparing a beverage called nabidh by mixing nearly ripe dates and fresh dates together or mixing dates and raisins together. Nabidh is an Arabic word for a type of drink made by soaking fruits in water overnight. This hadith teaches us that it is not permissible to mix different types of fruits when making this drink as it was prohibited by the Prophet Muhammad himself. It also teaches us about moderation in our consumption of food and drinks as we should not mix too many ingredients together when preparing them. Furthermore, this hadith serves as an example for us to follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad in all aspects of our lives so that we can live according to Islamic principles and values.
