This hadith is about the importance of treating all children equally. It was narrated by An-Numan ibn Bashir who said that his father brought him to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). His father had given him a slave as a gift, but when asked if he had given each of his children the same gift, he said no. The Prophet (PBUH) then advised him to take back the slave and treat all of his children fairly and equally.
