Greet your spouse on behalf of Allah and give them glad tidings from Him. Be kind and respectful towards your spouse. Obey Allah's commands and follow His messenger's teachings .

The hadith narrated by Abu Huraira tells us about the glad tidings that Allah's Messenger was given by the angel Gabriel. The angel told him that when his wife Khadija comes to him with a dish having meat soup or some food or drink he should greet her on behalf of her Lord and on his behalf and give her the glad tidings of having a palace in paradise called Qasab Palace wherein there will be neither any noise nor any fatigue. This hadith teaches us about the rewards that await those who are obedient to Allah and His Messenger. It also shows us how important it is to be kind and respectful towards our spouses as they are an integral part of our lives here on earth as well as in heaven.
