The Right of Withdrawal in Business Transactions

SUMMARY: This hadith explains the right of withdrawal in a business transaction, except for the transaction called khiyar.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Both parties in a business transaction have the right of withdrawal as long as they have not separated, except in the transaction called khiyar". Malik said, "There is no specified limit nor any matter which is applied in this case according to us".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that both parties involved in a business transaction have the right to withdraw from it as long as they have not separated. However, this does not apply to a specific type of transaction known as khiyar. According to Malik, there is no specified limit or any matter which is applied in this case according to us. This hadith teaches us that we should be fair and honest when conducting business transactions and respect each other's rights. We should also be aware of our legal rights when engaging in such transactions so that we can protect ourselves from any potential harm or loss.
