Mourning Rituals for Women

SUMMARY: A mourning woman can use lotus leaves and olive oil to rub her head.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "A mourning woman can rub her head with lotus leaves and olive oil'.'
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ كَانَتْ تَقُولُ تَجْمَعُ الْحَادُّ رَأْسَهَا بِالسِّدْرِ وَالزَّيْتِ
