QUICK LESSONS:
Be fair and just when dealing with others even during difficult times like divorce or separation between two people who were once close.

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, it is mentioned that a man divorced his wife and gave her a slave-girl as compensation. This hadith teaches us the importance of being fair in our dealings with others. Even when divorcing someone, we should make sure to be just and provide them with what is due to them according to Islamic law. We should also remember that slavery is not allowed in Islam; therefore, it would not be permissible for someone to give another person a slave as compensation for anything else either.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that justice must prevail in all matters of life; even when dealing with difficult situations such as divorce or other forms of separation between two people who were once close. We must strive to ensure fairness in all our dealings so that no one feels wronged or taken advantage of by another person’s actions or decisions.
