On the day of Battle of Khyber in 628 CE, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prohibited Muslims from engaging in temporary marriages with women as well as eating donkey meat. This was a part of his teachings to ensure that Muslims remain disciplined and follow Islamic laws even during times when they are at war or under pressure. He wanted to make sure that Muslims do not forget their religious obligations even when they are facing difficult situations. This hadith also teaches us about self-control and discipline which is essential for leading a successful life according to Islam. It also serves as an example for us to follow in our daily lives so that we can stay away from any kind of immoral activities or wrongdoings which may be harmful for our spiritual growth.
