Sacrificing Animals with the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) sacrificing a camel and a cow between seven people in the year of Hudaibiyah.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zubayr al-Makki that Jabir ibn Abdullah said, "We sacrificed with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the year of Hudaibiyah, a camel between seven people, and a cow between seven people".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sacrificed a camel and a cow between seven people in the year of Hudaibiyah. This event took place during one of his journeys to Makkah for pilgrimage. It was an act of worship that demonstrated his commitment to Allah's commands and teachings. It also serves as an example for us to follow in our own lives; we should strive to be obedient to Allah's commands and show our dedication through acts of worship such as sacrifice. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us that we should always strive for unity among ourselves; by sacrificing together with seven other people, it shows that we can come together despite our differences and work towards common goals.
