Help those in need, Show mercy even when wronged yourself .

Abdullah ibn Umar was a companion of Prophet Muhammad and one of the most influential figures in Islamic history. He believed that when someone breaks an oath, they should do expiation or kaffara as repentance. This could be done by feeding ten poor people with a mudd of wheat each or freeing a slave if the person had repeated the same oath multiple times. This is an example of how Muslims are encouraged to help those in need and show mercy even when wronged themselves.
