Strive for righteousness; Have courage; Be loyal towards God; Respect martyrdom

This hadith speaks about how death in the way of Allah is an honourable death. It was narrated by Yahya ibn Said who said that when the Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon him, was sitting by a grave which was being dug at Madina, a man looked into it and said it was an awful bed for a believer. The Prophet corrected him saying that being killed in the way of Allah has no like and there is no place on earth he would prefer his grave to be than Madina. He repeated this three times to emphasize its importance. This hadith teaches us that we should not fear death if we are doing something good or righteous as it will bring us closer to God and will be rewarded with great rewards from Him both in this life and hereafter. We should also strive to make our final resting place near or around our beloved city of Madina as much as possible so we can benefit from its blessings even after our passing away from this world.
