Fight in the name of Allah; Do not steal from booty; Do not act treacherously; Do Not mutilate; Do Not kill children

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ instructed his raiding parties on how they should conduct themselves when engaging in battle. He told them that they should fight only in the name of Allah and for His cause. He also warned them against stealing from any booty or spoils that were taken during battle, as well as acting treacherously or mutilating their enemies. Lastly, he commanded them never to kill children under any circumstances. This hadith teaches us that even during times of war we must still uphold our moral values and treat our enemies with respect and dignity. We must remember that even though we may be fighting for a just cause it does not give us license to commit immoral acts such as stealing or killing innocent people who are unable to defend themselves.
