Have patience during times of difficulty while trusting that everything happens according to God's will for our benefit .

This hadith speaks of the importance of having patience and trusting in Allah, even when faced with difficult situations. Umar ibn al-Khattab was informed by Ubayda ibn al-Jarrah about a great array of Byzantine troops causing anxiety. In response, Umar reminded him of the verse from Surah 3 ayat 200 which states “O you who trust, be patient, and vie in patience; be steadfast and fear Allah, perhaps you will profit”. This verse encourages believers to remain patient despite hardships they may face as it is a sign of faithfulness towards God. It also reminds us that no matter how hard our situation may seem at first glance, there will always be an opening for us if we have faith in God’s plan for us. Therefore this hadith teaches us to remain patient during times of difficulty while trusting that everything happens according to God’s will for our benefit.
