Remembering and praising Allah in everyday actions

This hadith speaks about a practice that was done by Abdullah ibn Umar. Whenever he threw a pebble while stoning the jamra he would say “Allah is greater”. This shows us that even in our everyday actions we should remember and praise Allah. We should always be mindful of Him and His greatness no matter what we are doing or where we are going. It also teaches us to be humble and grateful for all that He has given us and all that He does for us every day.
