Praying Maghrib and Isha Together at Muzdalifa

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed Maghrib and Isha together at Muzdalifa.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Salim ibn Abdullah from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed maghrib and isha together at Muzdalifa.
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ جَمِيعًا

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer habits. He would often pray two prayers together in one session. In this particular instance he prayed the maghrib and isha prayers together at a place called Muzdalifa. This was done to save time as well as to show his followers how they could combine their prayers if needed. It also shows us that we should be mindful of our time and use it wisely when it comes to worshiping Allah SWT. We should also strive to follow the example of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH in all aspects of our lives including prayer habits so that we can become closer to Allah SWT through our actions.
