Saluting All Corners During Tawaf

SUMMARY: Saluting all the corners of the Kaaba is an important part of performing tawaf.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa that his father used to salute all the corners when he did tawaf of the House and did not omit the Yamani corner unless he was prevented from it.

QUICK LESSONS:
Salute all corners during tawf .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that when performing tawaf around the Kaaba, it is important to salute each corner. This includes saluting the Yamani corner which is located on the side of the Kaaba facing Yemen. It is a sign of respect and reverence for this holy place and should not be omitted unless one cannot physically reach it due to a barrier or obstruction. The act of saluting each corner during tawaf shows humility and devotion to Allah as well as respect for His House.
