Saluting the Corner of the Black Stone

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) saluted the corner of the Black Stone before leaving after completing his tawaf of the House, praying two rakahs.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that when the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had finished his tawaf of the House, prayed two rakahs, and wanted to go to Safa and Marwa, he would salute the corner of the Black Stone before he left.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Prophet Muhammad's practice when he completed his circumambulation or tawaf around Kaaba, which is a holy site in Mecca. After completing his tawaf and praying two rakahs, he would salute or greet the corner of the Black Stone before leaving. This shows us that we should show respect to holy places and objects as well as to people. We should also be mindful of our actions and words when we are in a place that is special to us or to others. It teaches us that even small gestures can have great meaning and importance.
