QUICK LESSONS:
Perform acts of worship with dedication & sincerity
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Yahya states that the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, performed three Umrahs in his lifetime. These were in the years of Hudaibiyah, al Qadiya and al Jiirrana. An Umrah is a pilgrimage to Mecca which is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is an act of worship which Muslims perform to show their devotion to Allah and seek His blessings. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to perform acts of worship with dedication and sincerity as it was done by our beloved prophet. We should also remember that performing acts such as Hajj or Umrah are not only physical journeys but spiritual ones too; they are meant to bring us closer to Allah through prayer and reflection on His greatness.
