In this hadith narrated by Yahya from Malik from Nafi that he had heard Aslam telling 'Abdullah ibn Umar about an incident between Umar ibn al-Khattab and Talha Ibn Ubaydullah. It was reported that when Umar saw Talha wearing a dyed garment while in ihram he asked him what it was and Talha replied saying it was only mud. However, Umar warned him against wearing any form of dyed clothes as it could lead to people thinking that it is permissible to do so during ihram. This hadith teaches us the importance of being mindful of our actions as they can be misinterpreted by others and lead them astray. We should always strive to ensure our actions are within the boundaries set by Allah SWT and His Messenger SAWS so we can be an example for others who may follow us or look up to us for guidance.
