QUICK LESSONS:
Pay taxes on buried treasures found; Be responsible with wealth; Be fair and just when dealing with money matters; Give charity generously .

EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Yahya from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al- Musayyab and from Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah said that any buried treasure found must be subject to a tax of one fifth. This means that if someone finds something valuable such as gold or silver coins buried in the ground then they must pay a fifth of it in taxes. This is an important teaching because it shows us how we should be responsible with our wealth and use it for good causes such as helping those who are less fortunate than us. It also teaches us about fairness and justice when dealing with money matters.
