The Three Moons

SUMMARY: A'isha, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad, saw three moons fall into her room and later realized that one of them was the Prophet himself.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I saw three moons fall into my room, and I related my vision to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. Then, when the Messenger of Allah died, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and was buried in my house, Abu Bakr said to me, 'This is one of your moons, and he is the best of them'. "

QUICK LESSONS:
Showing love & respect for those around us regardless of their status or position in life .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a vision that A’isha, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad had. She saw three moons fall into her room and told Abu Bakr as-Siddiq about it. Later on when she found out that one of those moons was actually her husband, she understood what it meant. This hadith teaches us to be patient in times of difficulty because Allah will always provide us with a way out from our troubles. It also shows us how much love and respect Abu Bakr as-Siddiq had for his friend and leader, The Messenger Of Allah - may peace be upon him - by recognizing him even in death. We should all strive to emulate this example in our own lives by showing love and respect for those around us regardless of their status or position in life.
