Respect prayer times , Show compassion towards those grieving a loss , Pray over dead promptly if possible

This hadith is about the death of Zaynab bint Abi Salama and how Abdullah ibn Umar advised her family to either pray over her now or wait until sunrise. The time was during Tariq's rule in Madina and he used to pray subh right at the beginning of its time. When Zaynab's bier was brought out after subh, Abdullah suggested that they could either pray for her then or wait until sunrise. This hadith teaches us that it is important to be mindful of prayer times and respect them by not delaying them unnecessarily. It also teaches us that we should be respectful when dealing with death and not delay funeral prayers if possible as it shows respect for the deceased person as well as their family members who are grieving their loss.
