Prioritize your needs while you're alive

This hadith is about a conversation between Abu Bakr as-Siddiq and A'isha regarding shrouding when he was ill. When asked how many shrouds the Prophet Muhammad had, A'isha replied three pure white cotton garments. Abu Bakr then requested to be shrouded in one of his garments with two other garments because he believed that those who are alive have greater need for new things than those who are dead. This teaches us that we should prioritize our needs while we are alive and not wait until it is too late to take care of them. We should also remember that even though it may seem like something small or insignificant at first glance, it can still be important and necessary for us in our lives.
