Respect for the dead , Seek advice from knowledgeable people , Be mindful of religious obligations in difficult times

This hadith is about Asma bint Umays washing Abu Bakr as-Siddiq when he died. She was fasting and it was an extremely cold day so she asked some of the muhajirun if she had to do ghusl. They said no. This hadith teaches us that we should be respectful of the dead and take care of them even in difficult circumstances like fasting on a cold day. It also teaches us that we should ask for advice from knowledgeable people when we are unsure about something or need help with something important like washing the dead. We should also be mindful of our religious obligations even in difficult times and not neglect them without consulting knowledgeable people first.
