Be brave like Az Zubair and fight for what is right even if it means risking your life for it; Remember your past battles; Learn from your mistakes; Use history as an opportunity to learn from your mistakes so you can become better people in life; Do not take history lightly or forget about it .

This hadith is about the battle of Al-Yarmuk which took place during the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. During this battle, one of his companions named Az-Zubair attacked the enemy and received two wounds on his shoulder. In between these two wounds there was an old scar from a previous battle called Badr which he had received earlier. The narrator, Urwa, mentioned that when he was a child he used to insert his fingers into those scars in play. This hadith teaches us that we should be brave like Az Zubair and fight for what is right even if it means risking our lives for it as well as to remember our past battles and learn from them so we can be better prepared for future ones. It also teaches us not to forget our history or take it lightly but rather use it as an opportunity to learn from our mistakes so we can become better people in life.
