Refraining from Perfume During Isha Prayer

SUMMARY: Women should not use perfume when attending the Isha prayer.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard from Busr ibn Said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "None of you women should use perfume when you are present at the isha prayer".
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِذَا شَهِدَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ فَلاَ تَمَسَّنَّ طِيبًا

Additionally, it is important for women to be aware of their surroundings and not cause any distraction or disruption during the prayer by wearing strong fragrances which could potentially distract other worshippers.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us many lessons through his words and actions, one of which was the importance of maintaining cleanliness in our worship. This hadith serves as an example for us all to follow so that we can ensure our prayers are pure and free from any distractions or impurities.
