The Prophet's Disciple

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was referring to Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam as his disciple.

Narrated Jabir: The Prophet said, "Every prophet used to have a Hawari (ie disciple), and my Hawari is Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam".
حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ـ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا، وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ

This hadith is about the relationship between the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his disciple, Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam.
