This hadith discusses the permissibility of praying in places of animal husbandry. The muhajirun asked Abdullah ibn Amr if they could pray in a place where camels were watered and he replied that it was not permissible but they could pray in a sheep pen instead. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our surroundings when we are praying and make sure that the environment is suitable for prayer. We should also be aware that certain places may not be appropriate for prayer due to their nature or activities taking place there such as animal husbandry or other activities which may disrupt our concentration during prayer.
