QUICK LESSONS:
Follow the example of the Prophet Muhammad by finding balance between physical health and spiritual reward in your life.

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith of Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar speaks of the Prophet Muhammad's practice of walking and riding when going to Quba for prayer. This hadith serves as an example of how the Prophet Muhammad practiced his faith in a balanced way. He did not overburden himself with too much physical exertion but also did not take the easy way out by only riding. Instead, he chose a middle path that was both physically beneficial and spiritually rewarding. This is an important lesson for us today as we strive to balance our spiritual lives with our physical needs in order to live a healthy life that is pleasing to Allah SWT.
