Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to pray four rakahs behind the imam at Mina, and when he prayed by himself he would pray two rakas.

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray four Rakahs behind an Imam at Mina, Take time out for prayer even if alone or in a group setting

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer and how it should be done. Abdullah ibn Umar was a companion of Prophet Muhammad who used to pray four rakahs behind the imam at Mina. When he prayed by himself he would only pray two rakas. This shows that when praying in congregation with an imam leading it is important to follow their lead and do as they do. It also shows that prayer is important enough for us to take time out of our day for it even if we are alone or in a group setting.

Prayer is one of the five pillars of Islam and it is very important for Muslims all over the world. It helps us stay connected with Allah and remember Him throughout our day-to-day lives no matter where we are or what we are doing. Prayer can be done individually or in congregation with an imam leading them, but either way it should be taken seriously as a form of worshiping Allah Almighty.
