Praying Two Quick Rakahs Before Subh Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to pray two quick rakahs before the iqama was said for the subh prayer.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, told him that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to pray two quick rakahs when the muadhdhin had finished the adhan for the subh prayer, before the iqama was said for the prayer.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about a Sunnah of praying two quick rakahs before the iqama is said for subh prayer. This Sunnah was practiced by Prophet Muhammad PBUH and is still practiced by many Muslims today. It is important to note that this practice should be done after hearing adhan and before iqama is said for subh prayer. This practice helps Muslims prepare spiritually and mentally for their prayers as it allows them to focus on their prayers without any distractions or disturbances. Additionally, it also serves as a reminder of Allah's greatness and mercy as we are reminded of His presence in our lives through this act of worship.
