Follow the sunna of Prophet Muhammad's prayer , Respect elders even if they are doing something wrong or different than what we are used to seeing them do .

This hadith teaches us about the importance of following the sunna of Prophet Muhammad's prayer. It is narrated by Yahya who heard it from Malik who heard it from Abd ar-Rahman ibn al-Qasim who was told by Abdullah ibn Umar. In this hadith, Abdullah Ibn Umar saw his nephew crossing his legs while sitting in prayer and he corrected him saying that one should keep their right foot vertical and lay their left foot down. He then explained why he did not do so himself saying that his feet did not support him anymore due to old age. This hadith teaches us about how important it is for Muslims to follow the sunna of Prophet Muhammad's prayer as well as respect our elders even if they are doing something wrong or different than what we are used to seeing them do.
