The Power of 'Amin'

SUMMARY: Saying 'Amin' when praying can lead to the forgiveness of wrong actions.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When one of you says 'Amin' and the angels in the sky say 'Amin' so that one coincides with the other, his previous wrong actions are forgiven him".

QUICK LESSONS:
Say 'amen' after prayers

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the power of saying ‘Amin’ when praying. It is narrated by Yahya from Malik from Abu’z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah said that when one says ‘Amin’ and the angels in the sky say ‘Amin’ so that one coincides with the other, his previous wrong actions are forgiven him. This means that if someone says ‘amen’ while praying and it coincides with what is being said by angels in heaven then their sins will be forgiven. This hadith teaches us to always say amen after prayers as it can lead to forgiveness for our wrongdoings and mercy from Allah. It also encourages us to strive for righteousness in our lives as this will bring us closer to God and His blessings.
