Appreciate those around you who have been blessed with gifts from Allah SWT .

This hadith speaks about the special qualities of Umar, one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is narrated by Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that among the nations before them there were people who were inspired with guidance though they were not prophets. He then went on to say that if there is any such person amongst his followers, it is Umar. This hadith highlights the importance and value placed on inspiration and guidance from Allah SWT, as well as how it can be found in people even if they are not prophets. It also shows us how we should appreciate those around us who have been blessed with such gifts from Allah SWT and learn from them in order to become better Muslims ourselves.
