Yahya related to me from Malik from Damra ibn Said al-Mazini from Aban ibn Uthman that Uthman ibn Affan ate bread and meat, rinsed his mouth out, washed his hands and wiped his face with them, and then prayed without doing wudu.
This hadith also teaches us about cleanliness and hygiene which are important values in Islam. Cleanliness is seen as a sign of faithfulness while uncleanliness can lead to spiritual impurity or even physical illness if not taken seriously. Therefore it is important for Muslims to maintain good hygiene practices such as washing their hands regularly after meals or using hand sanitizer when necessary.
