Catching a Raka of Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that if one catches even a single raka of the prayer, they have caught the entire prayer.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abu Salama ibn Abdar-Rahman from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said "Whoever catches a raka of the prayer has caught the prayer".

QUICK LESSONS:
Make an effort to catch at least one raka in order for your prayers to be accepted by Allah

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith states that if one catches even a single raka of the prayer, they have caught the entire prayer. This means that it is important to try and complete all parts of the prayer in order to fulfill its obligation. Even if one is unable to complete all parts due to some reason, they should still make an effort to catch at least one raka in order for their prayers to be accepted by Allah. This hadith also teaches us about perseverance and dedication towards fulfilling our religious obligations as Muslims. It encourages us not to give up on our prayers even when we are facing difficulties or obstacles in completing them fully.
