Musnad Ahmad 1406 (Book 7, Hadith 2) #35028
Giving Charity After the Passing of a Prophet

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that Prophets are not to be inherited from, and whatever they leave behind should be given as charity.

It was narrated from Malik bin Aws: I heard 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) say to 'Abdur-Rahman, Talhah, az-Zubair and Sa'd: "I adjure you by Allah, by Whose power heaven and earth exist (Sufyan said on one occasion: by Whose leave heaven and earth exist), do you know that the Messenger of Allah said: 'We (Prophets) are not to be inherited from; what we leave behind is charity'. They said: "By Allah, yes".

QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity according to what you have left behind when you pass away .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad regarding inheritance. He taught that Prophets are not to be inherited from, and whatever they leave behind should be given as charity. This means that when a prophet passes away, their possessions should not go to their family members or friends but instead should be donated to those in need. This is an important lesson for all Muslims because it teaches us how we can use our wealth in a way that will benefit others and bring us closer to Allah. It also encourages us to think about how we can use our resources for good even after we have passed away. By donating our wealth after death, we can ensure that it will continue to benefit people long after we are gone.
