Wudoo of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the wudoo of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and how Ali bin Abi Talib (RA) followed it.

It was narrated that Abu Hayyah al-Hamdani said: 'Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) said: Whoever would like to see the wudoo’ of the Messenger of Allah , let him look at me. He did wudoo’ washing each part three times, then he wiped his head, then he drank the leftover water.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّةَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى وُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَيَّ قَالَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ شَرِبَ فَضْلَ وَضُوئِهِ‏.‏
