Musnad Ahmad 1308 (Book 5, Hadith 710) #34936
Praying for Punishment of Distractors

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prayed to Allah to punish those who distracted the believers from their prayer.

It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) that The Messenger of Allah said on the day of Al-Ahzab: "O Allah, fill their houses and their graves with fire, as they distracted us from the middle prayer until the sunset".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer and how it should not be taken lightly. On the day of Al-Ahzab, some people were distracting others from their prayers until sunset. The Prophet Muhammad was so upset by this that he prayed to Allah to punish them for their actions. He asked Allah to fill their houses and graves with fire as a sign of His wrath and displeasure. This hadith teaches us that we should take our prayers seriously and not let anyone distract us from them or prevent us from fulfilling our religious obligations. We must also remember that Allah will always hold us accountable for our actions and will punish those who disobey Him in this life or in the hereafter.
