SUMMARY: The hadith is about the angels not entering a house with an image, dog or person who is junub.

It was narrated that 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: I used to spend a little time with the Messenger of Allah at night, during which Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, benefited me (as He willed). The Messenger of Allah said: 'The angels do not enter a house in which there is an image or a dog or a person who is junub'. He said: 'I looked and found a puppy belonging to al Hasan bin 'Ali beneath the bed, so I took it out'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Keep your home clean from any impurities so that the angels can enter your home and bless you with peace and tranquility .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith was narrated by 'Ali ibn Abi Talib and it talks about the angels not entering a house with an image, dog or person who is junub. It is believed that when we have images in our homes, it can be seen as worshipping something other than Allah and this goes against Islamic teachings. Similarly, dogs are considered to be impure animals according to Islamic teachings and so they should not be kept in the home either. Lastly, if someone has become junub due to sexual intercourse then they must take a bath before entering their home again as this will make them pure again according to Islamic teachings. This hadith teaches us that we should keep our homes clean from any impurities so that the angels can enter our homes and bless us with peace and tranquility.
