Cursing Those Who Distracted Muslims From Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ cursed those who distracted the Muslims from their prayer on the day of Uhud.

It was narrated from 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) from the Prophet that he said on the day of Uhud: "They distracted us from the middle prayer until the sunset. May Allah fill their graves, houses and stomachs with fire".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ عَاصِمَ بْنَ بَهْدَلَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زِرًّا، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى آبَتِ الشَّمْسُ مَلَأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ وَبُطُونَهُمْ نَارًا‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of Uhud, some people distracted the Muslims from their prayer until sunset. This made Prophet Muhammad so angry that he cursed them and said that Allah should fill their graves, houses and stomachs with fire. This hadith teaches us to be careful not to distract others from performing their religious duties such as prayer, and also reminds us of how important it is to take our religious obligations seriously.
