It was narrated that 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Witr at all times of the night, at the beginning, in the middle and at the end, then in the end he settled on praying Witr at the end of the night
The importance of prayer in Islam cannot be overstated as it is one of its five pillars and an essential part of a Muslim's life. Prayer helps us stay connected with Allah and remember Him throughout our day-to-day activities so that we can stay focused on His will instead of getting distracted by worldly matters or temptations. Furthermore, prayer helps us develop discipline in our lives as well as humility since we are humbling ourselves before Allah when we pray to Him five times a day.
