Follow in footsteps/example set by beloved prophet ; Emulate prophet's example ; Strive for closeness with God ; Perform ritual ablutions correctly according to sunnah/prophetic tradition .

This hadith is about the ritual ablution or wudu that was performed by Prophet Muhammad. It is narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib that he did wudu washing each part three times and then wiped his head with water left over from his ablutions. He then said “Whoever would like to see the wudu of the Messenger of Allah, let him look at this”. This hadith teaches us that we should follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet and perform our ritual ablutions as he did. We should also strive to emulate his example in all aspects of life so that we can become closer to God and live a life full of blessings.
