The Prophet's Continuous Fasting

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to fast from pre-dawn to pre-dawn.

It was narrated from Muhammad bin 'Ali, from 'Ali (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet used to fast continually from pre-dawn to pre-dawn.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ يُوَاصِلُ مِنْ السَّحَرِ إِلَى السَّحَرِ‏.‏
