QUICK LESSONS:
Respect family ties and honor relationships with siblings regardless of blood relation .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about marriage prohibitions and how they are related to breastfeeding. It was narrated by Abu 'Awn who heard it from Abu Salih who in turn heard it from Ali ibn Abi Talib. According to this hadith, when the Prophet Muhammad was asked about marrying the daughter of his brother through breastfeeding, he said that she is considered as a daughter of his brother and thus marriage between them should not take place. This hadith teaches us that even if two people are not related by blood or lineage, if they have been breastfed by the same woman then they are considered as siblings and marriage between them is prohibited according to Islamic teachings. It also teaches us that we must respect our siblings regardless of whether we share a common mother or father or both; even if we have been breastfed by different women but still consider each other as siblings due to their relationship with our mother/father then we must respect this bond and refrain from any kind of inappropriate behavior towards them such as getting married without proper permission from parents or guardians.
